שָׁמַעְנוּ גְאֹון־מֹואָב גֵּאֶה מְאֹד גָּבְהֹו וּגְאֹונֹו וְגַאֲוָתֹו וְרֻם לִבֹּֽו׃

וַיִּֽהְיוּ־לָהּ מַטֹּות עֹז אֶל־שִׁבְטֵי מֹֽשְׁלִים וַתִּגְבַּהּ קֹֽומָתֹו עַל־בֵּין עֲבֹתִים וַיֵּרָא בְגָבְהֹו בְּרֹב דָּלִיֹּתָֽיו׃

וְאָנֹכִי הִשְׁמַדְתִּי אֶת־הָֽאֱמֹרִי מִפְּנֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר כְּגֹבַהּ אֲרָזִים גָּבְהֹו וְחָסֹן הוּא כָּֽאַלֹּונִים וָאַשְׁמִיד פִּרְיֹו מִמַּעַל וְשָׁרָשָׁיו מִתָּֽחַת׃
