וַיָּקָם הָעָם כָּל־הַיֹּום הַהוּא וְכָל־הַלַּיְלָה וְכֹל יֹום הַֽמָּחֳרָת וַיַּֽאַסְפוּ אֶת־הַשְּׂלָו הַמַּמְעִיט אָסַף עֲשָׂרָה חֳמָרִים וַיִּשְׁטְחוּ לָהֶם שָׁטֹוחַ סְבִיבֹות הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃

וַיִּקְצֹף נַעֲמָן וַיֵּלַךְ וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה אָמַרְתִּי אֵלַי יֵצֵא יָצֹוא וְעָמַד וְקָרָא בְּשֵׁם־יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו וְהֵנִיף יָדֹו אֶל־הַמָּקֹום וְאָסַף הַמְּצֹרָֽע׃

וְנָשָׂא נֵס לַגֹּויִם וְאָסַף נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּנְפֻצֹות יְהוּדָה יְקַבֵּץ מֵאַרְבַּע כַּנְפֹות הָאָֽרֶץ׃
