וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ לְצָדֹוק הָשֵׁב אֶת־אֲרֹון הָאֱלֹהִים הָעִיר אִם־אֶמְצָא חֵן בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה וֶהֱשִׁבַנִי וְהִרְאַנִי אֹתֹו וְאֶת־נָוֵֽהוּ׃

וַיִּתֵּן אֱלֹהַי אֶל־לִבִּי וָאֶקְבְּצָה אֶת־הַחֹרִים וְאֶת־הַסְּגָנִים וְאֶת־הָעָם לְהִתְיַחֵשׂ וָֽאֶמְצָא סֵפֶר הַיַּחַשׂ הָעֹולִים בָּרִאשֹׁונָה וָאֶמְצָא כָּתוּב בֹּֽו׃ פ

וְֽאוּלָם כֻּלָּם תָּשֻׁבוּ וּבֹאוּ נָא וְלֹֽא־אֶמְצָא בָכֶם חָכָֽם׃

עַד־אֶמְצָא מָקֹום לַיהוָה מִשְׁכָּנֹות לַאֲבִיר יַעֲקֹֽב׃
