וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלֶיהָ שִׁמְשֹׁון אִם־יַאַסְרֻנִי בְּשִׁבְעָה יְתָרִים לַחִים אֲשֶׁר לֹא־חֹרָבוּ וְחָלִיתִי וְהָיִיתִי כְּאַחַד הָאָדָֽם׃

וּבַחֹדֶשׁ הַֽחֲמִישִׁי בְּשִׁבְעָה לַחֹדֶשׁ הִיא שְׁנַת תְּשַֽׁע־עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה לַמֶּלֶךְ נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל בָּא נְבוּזַרְאֲדָן רַב־טַבָּחִים עֶבֶד מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

וַיְהִי בְּאַחַת עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה בָּֽרִאשֹׁון בְּשִׁבְעָה לַחֹדֶשׁ הָיָה דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹֽר׃
