וַיִּתְּנוּ הָֽעַמֹּונִים מִנְחָה לְעֻזִּיָּהוּ וַיֵּלֶךְ שְׁמֹו עַד־לְבֹוא מִצְרַיִם כִּי הֶחֱזִיק עַד־לְמָֽעְלָה׃

וְעַל־יָדָם הֶחֱזִיק מְרֵמֹות בֶּן־אוּרִיָּה בֶּן־הַקֹּוץ ס וְעַל־יָדָם הֶחֱזִיק מְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־בֶּרֶכְיָה בֶּן־מְשֵׁיזַבְאֵל ס וְעַל־יָדָם הֶֽחֱזִיק צָדֹוק בֶּֽן־בַּעֲנָֽא׃ ס

וְעָמַד עַל־כַּנֹּו נִבְזֶה וְלֹא־נָתְנוּ עָלָיו הֹוד מַלְכוּת וּבָא בְשַׁלְוָה וְהֶחֱזִיק מַלְכוּת בַּחֲלַקְלַקֹּֽות׃

מִי־אֵל כָּמֹוךָ נֹשֵׂא עָוֹן וְעֹבֵר עַל־פֶּשַׁע לִשְׁאֵרִית נַחֲלָתֹו לֹא־הֶחֱזִיק לָעַד אַפֹּו כִּֽי־חָפֵץ חֶסֶד הֽוּא׃
