אִם־תָּבֹוא עָלֵינוּ רָעָה חֶרֶב שְׁפֹוט וְדֶבֶר וְרָעָב נַֽעַמְדָה לִפְנֵי הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה וּלְפָנֶיךָ כִּי שִׁמְךָ בַּבַּיִת הַזֶּה וְנִזְעַק אֵלֶיךָ מִצָּרָתֵנוּ וְתִשְׁמַע וְתֹושִֽׁיעַ׃

כִּֽחֲשׁוּ בַּיהוָה וַיֹּאמְרוּ לֹא־הוּא וְלֹא־תָבֹוא עָלֵינוּ רָעָה וְחֶרֶב וְרָעָב לֹוא נִרְאֶֽה׃

בְּֽשַׁלְּחִי אֶת־חִצֵּי הָרָעָב הָרָעִים בָּהֶם אֲשֶׁר הָיוּ לְמַשְׁחִית אֲשֶׁר־אֲשַׁלַּח אֹותָם לְשַֽׁחֶתְכֶם וְרָעָב אֹסֵף עֲלֵיכֶם וְשָׁבַרְתִּי לָכֶם מַטֵּה־לָֽחֶם׃
