וַיֵּרֶד לְקֵץ שָׁנִים אֶל־אַחְאָב לְשֹׁמְרֹון וַיִּֽזְבַּֽח־לֹו אַחְאָב צֹאן וּבָקָר לָרֹב וְלָעָם אֲשֶׁר עִמֹּו וַיְסִיתֵהוּ לַעֲלֹות אֶל־רָמֹות גִּלְעָֽד׃

וּבְכָל־זֶה לֹא הָיִיתִי בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָם כִּי בִּשְׁנַת שְׁלֹשִׁים וּשְׁתַּיִם לְאַרְתַּחְשַׁסְתְּא מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל בָּאתִי אֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְ וּלְקֵץ יָמִים נִשְׁאַלְתִּי מִן־הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

וּלְקֵץ שָׁנִים יִתְחַבָּרוּ וּבַת מֶֽלֶךְ־הַנֶּגֶב תָּבֹוא אֶל־מֶלֶךְ הַצָּפֹון לַעֲשֹׂות מֵישָׁרִים וְלֹֽא־תַעְצֹר כֹּוחַ הַזְּרֹועַ וְלֹא יַעֲמֹד וּזְרֹעֹו וְתִנָּתֵן הִיא וּמְבִיאֶיהָ וְהַיֹּלְדָהּ וּמַחֲזִקָהּ בָּעִתִּֽים׃
