הִנֵּה יְהוָה נֹגֵף מַגֵּפָה גְדֹולָה בְּעַמֶּךָ וּבְבָנֶיךָ וּבְנָשֶׁיךָ וּבְכָל־רְכוּשֶֽׁךָ׃

בֶּן־אָדָם הִנְנִי לֹקֵחַ מִמְּךָ אֶת־מַחְמַד עֵינֶיךָ בְּמַגֵּפָה וְלֹא תִסְפֹּד וְלֹא תִבְכֶּה וְלֹוא תָבֹוא דִּמְעָתֶֽךָ׃
