מִן־הָאָרֶץ הַהִוא יָצָא אַשּׁוּר וַיִּבֶן אֶת־נִינְוֵה וְאֶת־רְחֹבֹת עִיר וְאֶת־כָּֽלַח׃

נָחִיתָ בְחַסְדְּךָ עַם־זוּ גָּאָלְתָּ נֵהַלְתָּ בְעָזְּךָ אֶל־נְוֵה קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃

מְאֵרַת יְהוָה בְּבֵית רָשָׁע וּנְוֵה צַדִּיקִים יְבָרֵֽךְ׃

וְיָשַׁב עַמִּי בִּנְוֵה שָׁלֹום וּֽבְמִשְׁכְּנֹות מִבְטַחִים וּבִמְנוּחֹת שַׁאֲנַנֹּֽות׃

כֹּֽה־אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות עֹוד יִֽהְיֶה בַּמָּקֹום הַזֶּה הֶחָרֵב מֵֽאֵין־אָדָם וְעַד־בְּהֵמָה וּבְכָל־עָרָיו נְוֵה רֹעִים מַרְבִּצִים צֹֽאן׃

וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־רַבָּה לִנְוֵה גְמַלִּים וְאֶת־בְּנֵי עַמֹּון לְמִרְבַּץ־צֹאן וִֽידַעְתֶּם כִּֽי־אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃ ס

קוּם לֵךְ אֶל־נִֽינְוֵה הָעִיר הַגְּדֹולָה וּקְרָא עָלֶיהָ כִּֽי־עָלְתָה רָעָתָם לְפָנָֽי׃

מַשָּׂא נִֽינְוֵה סֵפֶר חֲזֹון נַחוּם הָאֶלְקֹשִֽׁי׃

וְיֵט יָדֹו עַל־צָפֹון וִֽיאַבֵּד אֶת־אַשּׁוּר וְיָשֵׂם אֶת־נִֽינְוֵה לִשְׁמָמָה צִיָּה כַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃
