וְעָבְרָה הָעֲבָרָה לַֽעֲבִיר אֶת־בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ וְלַעֲשֹׂות הַטֹּוב [בְּעַיְנֹו כ] (בְּעֵינָיו ק) וְשִׁמְעִי בֶן־גֵּרָא נָפַל לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ בְּעָבְרֹו בַּיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

הָהְפַּךְ עָלַי בַּלָּהֹות תִּרְדֹּף כָּרוּחַ נְדִבָתִי וּכְעָב עָבְרָה יְשֻׁעָתִֽי׃

אֵין־כֵּהָה לְשִׁבְרֶךָ נַחְלָה מַכָּתֶךָ כֹּל שֹׁמְעֵי שִׁמְעֲךָ תָּקְעוּ כַף עָלֶיךָ כִּי עַל־מִי לֹֽא־עָבְרָה רָעָתְךָ תָּמִֽיד׃
