אֹו בִֽשְׁתִי אֹו בְעֵרֶב לַפִּשְׁתִּים וְלַצָּמֶר אֹו בְעֹור אֹו בְּכָל־מְלֶאכֶת עֹֽור׃

הוּא־בָא עַד־לֶחִי וּפְלִשְׁתִּים הֵרִיעוּ לִקְרָאתֹו וַתִּצְלַח עָלָיו רוּחַ יְהוָה וַתִּהְיֶינָה הָעֲבֹתִים אֲשֶׁר עַל־זְרֹועֹותָיו כַּפִּשְׁתִּים אֲשֶׁר בָּעֲרוּ בָאֵשׁ וַיִּמַּסּוּ אֱסוּרָיו מֵעַל יָדָֽיו׃

כֹּֽה־אָמַר יְהוָה אֵלַי הָלֹוךְ וְקָנִיתָ לְּךָ אֵזֹור פִּשְׁתִּים וְשַׂמְתֹּו עַל־מָתְנֶיךָ וּבַמַּיִם לֹא תְבִאֵֽהוּ׃

וַיָּבֵיא אֹותִי שָׁמָּה וְהִנֵּה־אִישׁ מַרְאֵהוּ כְּמַרְאֵה נְחֹשֶׁת וּפְתִיל־פִּשְׁתִּים בְּיָדֹו וּקְנֵה הַמִּדָּה וְהוּא עֹמֵד בַּשָּֽׁעַר׃
