וַיְצַו יֹוסֵף וַיְמַלְאוּ אֶת־כְּלֵיהֶם בָּר וּלְהָשִׁיב כַּסְפֵּיהֶם אִישׁ אֶל־שַׂקֹּו וְלָתֵת לָהֶם צֵדָה לַדָּרֶךְ וַיַּעַשׂ לָהֶם כֵּֽן׃

וַיֹּאפוּ אֶת־הַבָּצֵק אֲשֶׁר הֹוצִיאוּ מִמִּצְרַיִם עֻגֹת מַצֹּות כִּי לֹא חָמֵץ כִּֽי־גֹרְשׁוּ מִמִּצְרַיִם וְלֹא יָֽכְלוּ לְהִתְמַהְמֵהַּ וְגַם־צֵדָה לֹא־עָשׂוּ לָהֶֽם׃

וַיִּקְחוּ אֶת־צֵדָה הָעָם בְּיָדָם וְאֵת שֹׁופְרֹֽתֵיהֶם וְאֵת כָּל־אִישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל שִׁלַּח אִישׁ לְאֹֽהָלָיו וּבִשְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאֹות הָאִישׁ הֶֽחֱזִיק וּמַחֲנֵה מִדְיָן הָיָה לֹו מִתַּחַת בָּעֵֽמֶק׃ פ
