וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה הֵן קָרְבוּ יָמֶיךָ לָמוּת קְרָא אֶת־יְהֹושֻׁעַ וְהִֽתְיַצְּבוּ בְּאֹהֶל מֹועֵד וַאֲצַוֶּנּוּ וַיֵּלֶךְ מֹשֶׁה וִֽיהֹושֻׁעַ וַיִּֽתְיַצְּבוּ בְּאֹהֶל מֹועֵֽד׃

וְלִבְנֵי בַרְזִלַּי הַגִּלְעָדִי תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־חֶסֶד וְהָיוּ בְּאֹכְלֵי שֻׁלְחָנֶךָ כִּי־כֵן קָרְבוּ אֵלַי בְּבָרְחִי מִפְּנֵי אַבְשָׁלֹום אָחִֽיךָ׃

קָרְבוּ רֹדְפֵי זִמָּה מִתֹּורָתְךָ רָחָֽקוּ׃

רָאוּ אִיִּים וְיִירָאוּ קְצֹות הָאָרֶץ יֶחֱרָדוּ קָרְבוּ וַיֶּאֱתָיֽוּן׃

וַיִּקְרָא בְאָזְנַי קֹול גָּדֹול לֵאמֹר קָרְבוּ פְּקֻדֹּות הָעִיר וְאִישׁ כְּלִי מַשְׁחֵתֹו בְּיָדֹֽו׃
