וַיֹּאמְרוּ לֹו לֶאֱסָרְךָ יָרַדְנוּ לְתִתְּךָ בְּיַד־פְּלִשְׁתִּים וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם שִׁמְשֹׁון הִשָּׁבְעוּ לִי פֶּֽן־תִּפְגְּעוּן בִּי אַתֶּֽם׃

הַדֹּור אַתֶּם רְאוּ דְבַר־יְהוָה הֲמִדְבָּר הָיִיתִי לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אִם אֶרֶץ מַאְפֵּלְיָה מַדּוּעַ אָמְרוּ עַמִּי רַדְנוּ לֹֽוא־נָבֹוא עֹוד אֵלֶֽיךָ׃
