וַיֹּאמֶר לֹו יְהֹונָדָב שְׁכַב עַל־מִשְׁכָּבְךָ וְהִתְחָל וּבָא אָבִיךָ לִרְאֹותֶךָ וְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו תָּבֹא נָא תָמָר אֲחֹותִי וְתַבְרֵנִי לֶחֶם וְעָשְׂתָה לְעֵינַי אֶת־הַבִּרְיָה לְמַעַן אֲשֶׁר אֶרְאֶה וְאָכַלְתִּי מִיָּדָֽהּ׃

וְהָיָה כִּשְׁכַב אֲדֹנִֽי־הַמֶּלֶךְ עִם־אֲבֹתָיו וְהָיִיתִי אֲנִי וּבְנִי שְׁלֹמֹה חַטָּאִֽים׃
