וָאֲצַוֶּה אֶת־שֹׁפְטֵיכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא לֵאמֹר שָׁמֹעַ בֵּין־אֲחֵיכֶם וּשְׁפַטְתֶּם צֶדֶק בֵּֽין־אִישׁ וּבֵין־אָחִיו וּבֵין גֵּרֹֽו׃

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שָׁמֹעַ שָׁמַע עַבְדְּךָ כִּֽי־מְבַקֵּשׁ שָׁאוּל לָבֹוא אֶל־קְעִילָה לְשַׁחֵת לָעִיר בַּעֲבוּרִֽי׃

וְהָיָה אִם־שָׁמֹעַ תִּשְׁמְעוּן אֵלַי נְאֻם־יְהוָה לְבִלְתִּי הָבִיא מַשָּׂא בְּשַׁעֲרֵי הָעִיר הַזֹּאת בְּיֹום הַשַּׁבָּת וּלְקַדֵּשׁ אֶת־יֹום הַשַּׁבָּת לְבִלְתִּי עֲשֹֽׂות־ [בֹּה כ] (בֹּו ק) כָּל־מְלָאכָֽה׃
