וְאִם־לֹא תִמְצָא יָדָהּ דֵּי שֶׂה וְלָקְחָה שְׁתֵּֽי־תֹרִים אֹו שְׁנֵי בְּנֵי יֹונָה אֶחָד לְעֹלָה וְאֶחָד לְחַטָּאת וְכִפֶּר עָלֶיהָ הַכֹּהֵן וְטָהֵֽרָה׃ פ

וַיֹּאמֶר לְגֵיחֲזִי חֲגֹר מָתְנֶיךָ וְקַח מִשְׁעַנְתִּי בְיָדְךָ וָלֵךְ כִּֽי־תִמְצָא אִישׁ לֹא תְבָרְכֶנּוּ וְכִֽי־יְבָרֶכְךָ אִישׁ לֹא תַעֲנֶנּוּ וְשַׂמְתָּ מִשְׁעַנְתִּי עַל־פְּנֵי הַנָּֽעַר׃

וְרִדְּפָה אֶת־מְאַהֲבֶיהָ וְלֹֽא־תַשִּׂיג אֹתָם וּבִקְשָׁתַם וְלֹא תִמְצָא וְאָמְרָה אֵלְכָה וְאָשׁוּבָה אֶל־אִישִׁי הָֽרִאשֹׁון כִּי טֹוב לִי אָז מֵעָֽתָּה׃
