זְכֹר יְמֹות עֹולָם בִּינוּ שְׁנֹות דֹּור־וָדֹור שְׁאַל אָבִיךָ וְיַגֵּדְךָ זְקֵנֶיךָ וְיֹאמְרוּ לָֽךְ׃

אֲבָל הָעָם רָב וְהָעֵת גְּשָׁמִים וְאֵין כֹּחַ לַעֲמֹוד בַּחוּץ וְהַמְּלָאכָה לֹֽא־לְיֹום אֶחָד וְלֹא לִשְׁנַיִם כִּֽי־הִרְבִּינוּ לִפְשֹׁעַ בַּדָּבָר הַזֶּֽה׃

בִּינוּ בֹּעֲרִים בָּעָם וּכְסִילִים מָתַי תַּשְׂכִּֽילוּ׃

לְכוּ־נָא וְנִוָּֽכְחָה יֹאמַר יְהוָה אִם־יִֽהְיוּ חֲטָאֵיכֶם כַּשָּׁנִים כַּשֶּׁלֶג יַלְבִּינוּ אִם־יַאְדִּימוּ כַתֹּולָע כַּצֶּמֶר יִהְיֽוּ׃

שָׂם גַּפְנִי לְשַׁמָּה וּתְאֵנָתִי לִקְצָפָה חָשֹׂף חֲשָׂפָהּ וְהִשְׁלִיךְ הִלְבִּינוּ שָׂרִיגֶֽיהָ׃
